La Gastrocasa is not only a boutique hotel but also a place for culinary tourism, where guests enjoy a space designed to transmit and share a taste for good food, for the simple kitchen and cooked well. The Gastrocasa cusine is homemade and family cooking, lifetime cooking, and a good example is the "Rice to the oven of the Nassieta’s grandmother" or "pickled anchovies of the Tio Pepe", in honor of our family that they had such good taste when cooking and who inherited our passion for Mediterranean cuisine.
Salads, rice, seafood, vegetables ... are some of our specialties that we will offer for you to spend a pleasant and happy time around a table. Special mention Fideuà of Gandia, our traditional dish and it is also one of our delicacies.
The basis of our cuisine are seasonal products that go directly from the market, the garden or the sea to the table, thanks to our suppliers, fishermen and local farmers, without whose work and effort would be impossible to dispose of them. This philosophy of having the best food gives us a menu adapted to each season and needs of each client (allergies, celiac, vegetarian ...).
Therefore, we have not a fixed menu, the menu depends on the products that we buy every morning in the market, the vegetables and the fruits picked from the garden and the fish that we provide in the fish market of Puerto de Gandia. In this way, each time you visit you'll discover and taste new flavors.
Our cuisine is complemented by some of the finest wines and champagnes of Valencia, accompanied by other designations of origin Ribera del Duero, Rioja or Priorat..
Besides the restaurant, we have a calendar of events that allow the lovers of good food make a culinary trip at any time of year and they can enjoy local cuisine courses (Course Rice, Fideuà course ...), themed dinners (dinner romantic Dinner of the Senses ...), wine tasting, cocktails, etc.
